Transformers: Eternal War is continuing its pre-registration campaign ahead of a planned 2026 mobile launch. The character-collecting RPG brings Autobots and Decepticons together in recognisable classic designs while introducing a new enemy force known as the Chaos Legion. Veteran Transformers writer Simon Furman is involved with the storyline, giving the project a stronger connection to franchise history than a purely cosmetic licence.

Pre-registration milestones include rewards such as Jazz and Bumblebee, encouraging fans to sign up before release and giving new players familiar characters at the start of progression. Eternal War is entering a highly competitive character-collection market, so brand recognition alone will not guarantee long-term success. The combat and roster systems will need enough depth to keep players interested once the initial nostalgia fades.

At the same time, Transformers is unusually well suited to collection mechanics because the franchise already contains decades of distinct characters, factions and alternate designs. The game's strongest opportunity is to use that huge catalogue without turning progression into an overwhelming series of limited banners. More information about launch timing, monetisation and regional availability is expected as the pre-registration campaign moves closer to release.
