Dungeon Odyssey turns the hit web comic into a mobile idle RPG

Dungeon Odyssey is now available on Android and iOS, adapting the popular web comic into an idle role-playing game centred on Kim Jinwoo's rise from dungeon survivor to ruler of a labyrinth. The original series has built a sizeable audience around its underground world, monsters and progression fantasy, giving the mobile version a ready-made setting and cast.

Players develop Jinwoo and his forces while expanding through increasingly dangerous dungeon environments, combining automated growth with more active decisions around upgrades and team strength. Idle RPGs succeed when they provide satisfying improvement without making the player feel that every meaningful action happens automatically, and that will be the key challenge for Dungeon Odyssey. The adaptation has an advantage in its source material because progression is already central to the comic's appeal.

Character art, environments and familiar narrative moments can therefore reinforce the mechanics rather than exist only as cosmetic references. The mobile release also makes the franchise accessible to players who may know the web comic but do not normally play traditional RPGs.
