Wuthering Waves Version 3.6 countdown begins as August 20 release approaches

Wuthering Waves is now ten days away from Version 3.6, with Kuro Games preparing to launch the next major update on August 20. The patch follows the recent preview broadcast and introduces additional story content, a new explorable area and new Resonators, including Qingxiao and Jingran. Returning characters are also expected across the update's banner phases, giving players several competing options for saved Astrites. That makes the period before launch particularly important for resource planning.

Wuthering Waves has become one of mobile's most technically ambitious action RPGs, combining an open world with fast character switching, parries, dodges and large combat effects. Every content update therefore has two jobs: provide enough new activities for established players while continuing to improve performance across a wide range of phones. Version 3.6 follows a busy year that has already expanded the game's world and roster substantially.

The August 20 timing also places it in direct competition with other large live-service RPG updates, making rewards and event pacing important for maintaining attention. Players currently finishing Version 3.5 content have until August 20 to prepare materials, currency and team compositions before the next phase begins.
