Google's Pixel 11 launch is now only two days away, with Made by Google scheduled for August 12 in New York. Google has officially teased both conventional Pixel 11 hardware and the Pixel 11 Pro Fold, while leaks have filled in many potential details around the wider lineup. The core Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL are expected to use Google's Tensor G6 processor and put substantial emphasis on Gemini-powered software.

Google has already confirmed the launch event itself, but prices and final specifications remain officially unannounced until the presentation. For mobile gamers, Tensor G6 will be one of the most interesting components. Pixel phones have historically prioritised photography and machine-learning workloads rather than sustained gaming benchmarks, leaving Qualcomm-powered rivals with an advantage in demanding titles.

Better GPU efficiency and thermal behaviour could therefore matter more than headline AI demonstrations to gaming-focused buyers. The event is also expected to cover a new Pixel Watch and potentially additional accessories. With pre-orders expected around the presentation and retail availability reportedly following soon afterwards, August 10 is effectively the final stage of the pre-launch rumour cycle before Google replaces speculation with confirmed hardware.
