Moto Pad 70 Groove remains Motorola's entertainment-heavy alternative with nine-speaker JBL system

Motorola's Moto Pad 70 Groove is settling into the Indian market after going on sale on August 7. The tablet takes a very different approach from the newly launched Moto Pad 70 by placing unusual emphasis on audio. A nine-unit JBL speaker system combines different driver types and supports Dolby Atmos, turning the tablet into a portable media device as much as a productivity machine. The 12.1-inch 2.5K display refreshes at 120Hz, making it suitable for streaming, browsing and supported games.

MediaTek's Dimensity 7400 provides processing power, while 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage are paired with a 10,200mAh battery. The tablet is priced at ₹36,999 before promotional discounts. For gaming, the high-refresh display and large battery are useful, but the real differentiator is sound. Many tablets provide acceptable stereo speakers as an afterthought, whereas Motorola is treating audio as a headline feature.

The Groove is therefore aimed at users who frequently watch films, stream games or play without headphones. With the standard Moto Pad 70 now launched as well, Motorola has quickly created a broader Android tablet family targeting different entertainment and productivity priorities.
