Marmalade Game Studio has reported £12.7 million, approximately $17.1 million, in FY25 revenue, up from £10.7 million the previous year. Adjusted EBITDA more than doubled to £5.2 million, or roughly $7 million, and the company expects further growth during FY26. Marmalade has built its business around digital adaptations of familiar board-game properties including Monopoly and The Game of Life, giving it a catalogue of evergreen titles rather than relying exclusively on new releases.
The studio also expanded its distribution strategy by adding Amazon Luna in 2025 and now has five games available on the platform with two additional projects in development. Management has pointed to diversification across intellectual property, platforms and revenue streams as an important reason for the improved results.
The numbers are interesting for the mobile sector because they demonstrate that established premium and licence-driven games can remain commercially relevant even while most industry attention focuses on free-to-play live services. Marmalade expects live management of its existing catalogue and new releases to support another record year.
