Moto Pad 70 begins first week on sale with 12.1-inch display and 10,200mAh battery

Motorola's newly launched Moto Pad 70 is beginning its first week in the Indian market after arriving on August 10. The Android tablet uses a 12.1-inch 2.5K display and a large 10,200mAh battery supporting 68W wired charging. MediaTek's Dimensity 6400 provides mainstream performance, while Motorola includes a Moto Pen for handwriting, annotation and creative work. Quad speakers with Dolby Atmos reinforce the device's entertainment focus.

The Pad 70 is not designed as a dedicated gaming tablet, but its large battery and display make it suitable for longer casual and mid-range gaming sessions. The chipset will be the main limitation for players attempting to run the most demanding games at maximum graphics settings. Motorola now has multiple tablets targeting different priorities, including the audio-focused Pad 70 Groove.

That broader range shows how Android tablets are becoming more competitive after years in which Samsung dominated much of the market. Large batteries, stylus support and desktop-style accessories are increasingly standard expectations rather than features limited to premium devices.
