Servant of the Lake prepares to launch tomorrow with premium point-and-click horror puzzles

Servant of the Lake launches on August 13 for iOS, Android and PC, putting mobile players one day away from Rusty Lake's newest premium point-and-click adventure. The game returns to the Vanderboom family and places players in the role of a servant responsible for keeping the household running while increasingly unsettling events unfold around them. Everyday duties such as arranging portraits and doing laundry gradually give way to stranger tasks connected to the family's alchemical ambitions.

The structure is intentionally rooted in classic point-and-click design: explore rooms, identify objects, solve puzzles and piece together a dark narrative through environmental details. Rusty Lake's games have always been a natural fit for phones because their interactions depend more on observation and tapping than on fast physical controls.

Servant of the Lake is also positioned as a premium single-player experience rather than a live-service title, making it attractive to users who want a complete game without daily energy systems or character banners. Its story takes place decades before Rusty Lake: Roots, giving long-time fans additional context while remaining accessible to newcomers. August 12 is therefore the final pre-launch day before the Vanderboom house opens.
