Pixel 11 Pro XL has become the most heavily leaked conventional phone in Google's upcoming lineup, with recent images showing a matte finish, prominent camera lenses and what appears to be the new HiLight notification system integrated around the camera area. The feature is expected to provide visual alerts when the phone is face-down, potentially bringing back a capability many Android enthusiasts have missed since dedicated notification LEDs disappeared.
Google has not confirmed the full behaviour, so the launch presentation remains important. The Pro XL should also provide the largest battery and cooling volume among the non-folding Pixel 11 models, making it the version most relevant to demanding mobile gamers. If Tensor G6 improves GPU efficiency, the larger chassis could help sustain performance for longer sessions.
Camera features and Gemini will inevitably dominate Google's marketing, but gaming users will be paying close attention to thermal behaviour, frame consistency and charging. Reports also suggest higher starting storage, reflecting the growing size of photos, offline AI models and large games. The official event begins at 6 p.m. Eastern Time, which means Dutch viewers will see confirmation at midnight tonight.
