Wuthering Waves Version 3.6 is one week away with Qingxiao and Jingran leading the update

Wuthering Waves Version 3.6 is now only one week away, with Kuro Games preparing to release the update on August 20. New five-star Resonators Qingxiao and Jingran headline the character additions, accompanied by returning units across later banner phases. The update continues Chapter IV of the story and adds fresh Echo encounters, events and high-level Tactical Hologram challenges.

Wuthering Waves distinguishes itself through active combat, where dodging, parrying and rapid character switching remain important even for accounts with powerful equipment. That makes new combat challenges particularly valuable for experienced users who have already completed most exploration content. Version 3.6 also arrives during a crowded week for mobile RPGs, with Neverness to Everness Version 1.3 scheduled one day earlier and Wobbly Life launching on the same date.

Mobile performance will remain a major part of the conversation because Wuthering Waves can push GPUs and battery systems hard at higher settings. Kuro Games has steadily improved optimisation since launch, but every new region and effect places fresh demands on devices. Players now have seven days to finish existing events, stock upgrade resources and decide which upcoming Resonators are worth their saved currency.
