Garena is continuing development of Palworld Online, a dedicated iOS and Android MMORPG licensed from Pocketpair rather than a direct port of the existing PC and console game. Planned systems include Pal collection, crafting, settlement construction, automation, cooperative PvE and competitive PvP inside a large persistent world.
Garena says the interface is being designed around touchscreen use, an important decision because Palworld's original combination of inventory management, construction and creature commands would be difficult to reproduce comfortably with a simple virtual controller overlay. The mobile edition will also use its own story and online structure, giving the studio more freedom to adjust progression and session lengths. Monetisation remains the major unanswered question.
Existing Palworld players are accustomed to buying the game upfront, while large mobile MMORPGs often rely on free-to-play economies. How Garena handles creature acquisition, crafting speed and resource gathering could therefore have a major influence on player reception. A specific launch date has not been announced beyond 2026.
Even so, the combination of a globally recognised survival game with one of Southeast Asia's largest online publishers makes Palworld Online one of the year's most closely watched upcoming mobile releases.
