Pixel 11 is official with Tensor G6, 256GB storage and upgraded 48MP main camera

Google has officially unveiled the Pixel 11, replacing yesterday's leaks with confirmed specifications. The new flagship starts at $899 with 256GB of storage and is powered by Google's Tensor G6 processor. Its redesigned camera system uses a larger 48MP main sensor that Google says captures substantially more light than the previous generation, while the telephoto system now supports up to 30x Super Zoom.

Google has also reduced the thickness of the rear camera bar, making the phone flatter when used with the company's official case. Tensor G6 drives the latest Gemini Nano model and forms the foundation for new AI-assisted camera and productivity tools. Google promises seven years of operating-system, security and Pixel Drop updates. Battery and charging have also been improved, with Qi2.2 magnetic wireless charging becoming part of the new Pixelsnap accessory ecosystem.

Pre-orders are open now, with the Pixel 11 reaching stores on August 20. The price has increased compared with last year's model, but Google has at least doubled base storage to 256GB. For mobile gamers, the biggest unanswered question is sustained Tensor G6 performance under extended loads rather than the headline AI specifications.
