Genshin Impact Version 7.0 is moving through its first weekend cycle after opening Snezhnaya on August 12. The long-awaited region has transformed the game's daily rhythm as players race to uncover waypoints, quests, materials, puzzles and hidden areas across the new map. Snezhnaya has been important to Genshin's wider story since the earliest chapters because of its ties to the Fatui and Cryo Archon, meaning the update carries considerably more narrative weight than a normal seasonal expansion.
