Karekore of Mixed Blood: Mirror Rush opens Japanese mobile pre-registration

Karekore of Mixed Blood: Mirror Rush has opened pre-registration on Android and iOS in Japan ahead of an expected October 14 release. The game adapts the popular Konketsu no Karekore property into a casual idle tower-defence RPG centred around Kagechiyo and a broader cast of familiar characters. Players develop a team and send them against increasingly large waves of enemies while progression continues through character upgrades and idle systems.

The structure is well suited to smartphones because battles can remain visually active without requiring constant manual input, although long-term success will depend on how much meaningful team-building exists underneath the automation. Anime and web-content adaptations frequently attract strong initial interest in Japan, but retention can fall quickly if the game relies too heavily on recognition rather than strategic depth.

Mirror Rush will also need to establish a sensible character-acquisition economy, particularly if the roster expands rapidly after launch. The current pre-registration campaign is focused on Japan and no global release timetable has been confirmed.
