HONOR X6e launches in Philippines with 7,500mAh battery and durability focus

HONOR X6e is now available in the Philippines at PHP 15,999, bringing another 7,500mAh battery into the increasingly competitive affordable smartphone market. The device is built around endurance and durability rather than flagship-level performance, with HONOR promoting drop resistance and a design intended for demanding everyday use. It runs MagicOS 10 based on Android 16 and uses MediaTek's Helio G81 Ultra platform. The enormous battery is the most immediately noticeable specification.

For casual mobile gaming, navigation and streaming, additional capacity can matter far more than a small increase in benchmark performance. HONOR joins REDMI, Motorola and other manufacturers pushing batteries beyond the long-standing 5,000mAh standard. The trend is being enabled by denser cell technology that allows manufacturers to increase capacity without producing extremely thick handsets.
