Aniimo pre-registration accelerates after September 16 global launch date is confirmed

Aniimo is building toward its September 16 global release after developer Pawprint Studio confirmed the creature-catching open-world RPG will launch across iOS, Android, PC, Xbox and PlayStation 5. Global pre-registration is now active, and the official campaign is offering additional milestone rewards as more players sign up. Aniimo centres on creatures that can be discovered throughout the world of Idyll, with players able to form deeper links with them and use their abilities during exploration and combat.

The game therefore combines monster collecting with a much larger action-RPG structure rather than limiting creatures to traditional turn-based battles. Cross-platform availability raises expectations around account continuity and content parity because mobile users will naturally compare their version with the console and PC builds. Performance will be equally important: a large open world needs to remain playable across far more varied smartphone hardware than a console game.

The September release also places Aniimo into direct competition with several established creature-collection franchises. Its success will depend on whether exploration and individual Aniimo feel meaningfully different rather than simply offering another large checklist of creatures to capture.
