iQOO Z11 and new iQOO Buds are four days from their August 20 India launch

iQOO is preparing a dual hardware launch in India on August 20, combining the performance-focused Z11 smartphone with a new pair of iQOO Buds true-wireless earbuds. The company has confirmed that the Z11 uses a 6.8-inch 1.5K curved AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 5,000 nits peak brightness. MediaTek's Dimensity 7500 Turbo will make its Indian smartphone debut inside the device, with iQOO advertising an AnTuTu score above 1.2 million.

The new Buds have so far been shown in a black design with yellow accents, but detailed audio specifications and pricing remain unannounced. Launching both products together allows iQOO to present itself as a broader gaming and lifestyle ecosystem rather than purely a phone manufacturer. The 144Hz screen is especially relevant to competitive mobile players, although supported games still need to produce corresponding frame rates.

Battery, cooling and final pricing will determine how aggressively the Z11 competes in India's upper mid-range segment. Full specifications for both products should be confirmed on Thursday.
