RunOut – Hothead Paws soft-launches on Android in Brazil and Thailand

RunOut – Hothead Paws has entered soft launch on Android in Brazil and Thailand, giving WakaStudio a live testing environment for its chaotic multiplayer party game. Matches place players inside obstacle-filled competitions where winning is not simply about running fastest. Characters can punch opponents, steal coins, avoid traps and sabotage other competitors while racing toward objectives. The combination creates something closer to an interactive party show than a conventional platformer.

RunOut supports colourful animal characters and deliberately unpredictable courses, with the developers aiming for a social experience where players can laugh at failures as much as celebrate victories. Soft launch is especially useful for a multiplayer game because matchmaking, latency and player retention are difficult to evaluate through internal testing alone. Brazil and Thailand also provide two substantial mobile-gaming audiences with different network conditions and device mixes.

The current release remains limited to Android, and the developers have not announced a final worldwide mobile date. Feedback from this phase should influence progression, balance and server infrastructure before expansion.
