Google's Pixel 11 family reaches stores on August 20, putting the company's four-phone flagship lineup only three days away from general availability. Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL and Pixel 11 Pro Fold all use Tensor G6 and Android 17, with Google promising seven years of operating-system, security and feature updates. Pricing begins at $899 for the standard model and reaches $1,899 for the foldable.
Google has doubled baseline storage on the standard phone to 256GB while concentrating heavily on Gemini Intelligence, computational photography and camera software. Pro models add the HiLight notification system around the rear camera area, while the Pro Fold combines 16GB of RAM with a larger flexible display. The final pre-order period is particularly important because retailers are offering different trade-in credits and gift incentives.
Gaming-focused buyers should look beyond Google's AI demonstrations and wait for sustained Tensor G6 testing. Previous Tensor generations have been excellent for photography and machine-learning workloads but less competitive than top Snapdragon hardware during long GPU-heavy sessions. August 20 will finally provide enough retail units for broader battery, thermal and performance comparisons.
