iQOO Z11 and new iQOO Buds launch in India in three days

iQOO is three days away from its August 20 Indian launch for the Z11 smartphone and a new pair of iQOO Buds. The Z11 is positioned heavily around display and gaming performance, using a 6.8-inch 1.5K curved AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate and peak brightness advertised at up to 5,000 nits. MediaTek's Dimensity 7500 Turbo will make its Indian smartphone debut inside the device.

iQOO has also teased the accompanying true-wireless earbuds in a black-and-yellow design, although full audio specifications remain under wraps until launch. Releasing both products simultaneously gives the company an opportunity to strengthen its ecosystem positioning rather than selling phones in isolation. Competitive gamers will be interested in whether the Buds include a dedicated low-latency mode and whether the Z11's cooling system can maintain frame rates long enough to make the 144Hz screen useful.

Battery capacity, charging and final pricing will also determine where it sits against increasingly aggressive rivals from POCO, realme and Motorola. August 20 is therefore shaping up as one of the busiest mobile-hardware dates of the month.
