iQOO launches the Neo 11 Ultra in China today, pairing flagship-oriented performance with one of the largest batteries currently found in a performance smartphone. The device uses MediaTek's Dimensity 9500M platform together with fast LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.1 storage. A large vapour-chamber cooling system is designed to maintain performance under sustained loads, while a dedicated Q2 gaming chip handles features including resolution enhancement.
The most striking specification is the 9,100mAh battery, supported by 100W charging. That capacity illustrates how rapidly silicon-carbon battery technology is changing the smartphone market. Only a few years ago, a battery approaching 10,000mAh would have been associated with a rugged handset or tablet. iQOO is instead placing it inside a performance-focused mainstream design.
The company's promotional material naturally emphasises long gaming endurance, but independent testing will be more useful for measuring heat and sustained frame rates. The Neo 11 Ultra is initially focused on China, and broader international availability has not been confirmed. Even so, it sets an aggressive benchmark for what gaming-oriented buyers may begin expecting from 2027 phones.
