Sorcery School is now available on iOS and Android, turning familiar solitaire sequences into attacks, defensive moves and magical combinations. Players arrive at the Owl School of Magic only to discover the academy has been overrun by monsters, forcing an ordinary card-game structure into service as an improvised combat system. Longer card streaks strengthen attacks, while spell cards add additional effects and strategic possibilities.

Different magical styles include Owl, Snake, Water, Fire and Ice disciplines, allowing players to develop their wizard beyond simply improving raw statistics. The amount of content is surprisingly substantial, with more than 200 monsters, over 170 spells and around 200 quests alongside equipment, artefacts and customisation systems. Sorcery School is free to play but notably avoids conventional advertisements and can also function offline.

That combination is increasingly unusual among mobile puzzle RPGs, where constant connectivity and ad interruptions are often built into the basic loop. Solitaire is already well suited to short smartphone sessions, and connecting successful sequences to visible spell effects gives each move a clearer purpose. For card-game fans looking for something more adventurous than a standard deck, Sorcery School offers a clever new interpretation.
