Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.5 is one week away from its Astropolis expansion

Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.5 launches on August 26, placing HoYoverse's next major update exactly one week away. The update takes the Trailblazer deeper into Astropolis and adds new characters, locations, events and another stage of the game's continuing story. Robin • Summeretto and Aventurine • Waveflair are among the headline additions, while the patch includes quality-of-life changes such as an option to speed up story dialogue.

Star Rail's turn-based combat allows new character kits to reshape team building substantially without rewriting the entire battle system, making banner planning particularly important for players with limited Stellar Jade. Storage also remains a practical issue on mobile as cinematic sequences, voice files and new explorable areas accumulate across each version. Version 4.5 arrives during Gamescom week, when the wider gaming industry will already be generating a constant stream of announcements.
