Motorola's Moto G Max goes on sale in India tomorrow, August 20, after launching at ₹27,999 for its 6GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration. The handset combines Qualcomm's Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 with a 6.72-inch Full HD+ display capable of refreshing at 120Hz. Its headline feature is the 7,000mAh battery, supported by 30W charging. Photography is led by a 50MP Sony LYTIA main sensor, accompanied by an 8MP secondary camera and a 32MP selfie camera.
Motorola also includes Android 16-based Hello UI and durability features designed for more demanding everyday use. The Moto G Max is not intended to compete directly with specialist gaming phones, but battery capacity and a high-refresh display make it attractive to users who play for extended periods. The Snapdragon 6-series processor sets reasonable limits on maximum graphics performance, yet many popular mobile games should benefit more from endurance than benchmark leadership.
Tomorrow's first sale will also show how Indian buyers respond to the industry's current shift toward dramatically larger batteries in mainstream mid-range smartphones.
