FCNT has confirmed that the Arrows Alpha 2 will go on sale in Japan on August 27. The locally focused Android flagship starts at ¥94,900 for a configuration with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, while a higher 12GB and 512GB edition rises to ¥118,800. The phone was originally introduced earlier in the summer, but today's pricing and availability information finally makes its market positioning clear.
Arrows devices have traditionally concentrated on durability and features tailored specifically to Japanese consumers rather than pursuing worldwide distribution. That makes the Alpha 2 an interesting counterpoint to globally marketed Galaxy, Pixel and Xiaomi flagships. At roughly the equivalent of $595 for the entry model, it also occupies a price tier below many ultra-premium international phones despite aiming at flagship buyers.
The August 27 date puts the device into an unusually active hardware week that also includes Xiaomi's global Redmi Note 17 event. There is no indication of a wider international launch, so interested buyers outside Japan are unlikely to receive normal local carrier or warranty support. For the domestic market, however, the confirmed pricing makes Alpha 2 a credible alternative to imported flagship brands.
