Google Pixel 11 goes on sale today as reviews call it the sensible choice in the new lineup

Google's Pixel 11 reaches retail shelves today at $899 in the United States, beginning the commercial phase of Google's 2026 flagship generation. The standard model uses Tensor G6 with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of base storage, giving it much of the same underlying platform as the more expensive Pixel 11 Pro.

Today's first full reviews are increasingly positioning the regular Pixel 11 as the most rational purchase in the family because it preserves Google's strongest software features while costing $200 less than the Pro. Camera Looks, Magic Capture and Gemini-powered Proactive Assistance are among the headline additions, although reviewers note that some AI features still need refinement.

The phone also includes a dedicated telephoto camera and Qi2 magnetic charging, helping distinguish it from Google's cheaper A-series hardware. Mobile gamers will be watching Tensor G6's sustained performance closely because previous Tensor generations prioritised machine learning and photography over leading GPU benchmarks.
