CMF by Nothing's Buds Neo are moving through their first full day after launching in India on August 20. The affordable true-wireless earbuds include active noise cancellation and advertise up to 52 hours of total playback when the charging case is included. CMF continues using distinctive colours and industrial design to separate its budget audio products from the many visually similar earbuds filling the Indian market.

The case also incorporates tactile control ideas intended to reduce the number of routine adjustments users need to make through a phone. Sound quality, microphone performance and ANC effectiveness will now determine whether the Buds Neo offer more than attractive styling. Mobile gamers should also watch independent latency testing because Bluetooth delay can be noticeable in rhythm games and competitive shooters even when normal video playback appears perfectly synchronised.

CMF's strategy is to create lower-cost entry points into Nothing's broader device ecosystem without making every product feel anonymous. The Buds Neo therefore need to deliver enough practical audio quality to support that identity rather than functioning mainly as a design accessory.
