Motorola's Moto G Max is now in its second day of Indian retail availability after sales began on August 20. The ₹27,999 handset pairs Qualcomm's Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 with 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage and a 6.72-inch Full HD+ display refreshing at up to 120Hz. Its standout feature is the 7,000mAh battery, supported by 30W charging. Motorola has also given the device unusually strong durability credentials with IP66, IP68 and IP69 resistance plus MIL-STD-810H testing. Photography is led by a 50MP Sony LYTIA sensor.
The Moto G Max does not target users who demand flagship graphics settings, but the combination of endurance and physical toughness could be more useful for mainstream gaming than another expensive performance chip. Popular competitive titles scale well across mid-range hardware, while battery capacity affects every use case. The phone joins a wider 2026 trend where batteries above 7,000mAh are moving rapidly from niche rugged devices into ordinary consumer handsets.
