Bandai Namco's SoulTerra Odyssey remains in soft launch across selected territories including Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the Philippines. The mobile title blends Match-3D object puzzles with roguelite RPG progression, turning puzzle actions into combat effects rather than isolating them as separate casual mini-games. Characters, gear and randomised choices provide longer-term progression around individual runs.

Soft launch is particularly important for a hybrid project because the developer needs to understand two very different audiences: casual players who immediately understand matching mechanics and RPG users expecting meaningful build strategy. Difficulty, monetisation and onboarding can all be adjusted before broader distribution. SoulTerra's colourful presentation also gives it more visual personality than many puzzle games built around interchangeable icons.

No worldwide release date has been confirmed, meaning the current version should still be treated as a testing phase rather than a finished global launch. Its performance will help determine whether Match-3D mechanics can support a deeper RPG loop over months rather than only short casual sessions.
