South Korean indie studio LemonVelvet has revealed more of ZombiSeed, an unusually styled mobile RPG built around a virus that transforms victims into beautiful but flesh-eating Flower Zombies. People who resist the infection instead awaken supernatural abilities and become Hunters. Players take the role of a customisable teacher responsible for a group of students inside a protected shelter, with relationships shaped by trust, trauma, conflict and affection rather than simple conventional romance routes.

Combat uses a turn-based card system. Three cards are drawn each round and can be connected into chains, with longer combinations producing more powerful attacks. Team composition changes how those cards interact, giving the story-heavy project a tactical layer beneath its visual-novel presentation. A Kickstarter campaign is scheduled to begin September 10, while the planned iOS and Android launch is currently targeted for April 2027.

A short PC demo is already available, although it focuses on the opening story rather than combat. ZombiSeed remains early, but its bizarre mixture of botanical horror and character drama certainly gives it a distinctive identity.
