Vivo has unveiled the V70 Lite 4G with an 8,100mAh battery and 120Hz AMOLED display, bringing two specifications normally used to attract very different audiences into the same mainstream device. The large battery targets endurance-conscious users, while the high-refresh OLED panel makes scrolling, animation and supported games considerably smoother than conventional 60Hz screens. Battery capacity is becoming one of the biggest smartphone stories of 2026.
Manufacturers are increasingly able to exceed 7,000mAh without producing the extremely thick handsets that once accompanied such figures. That gives mid-range phones an obvious marketing advantage at a time when camera and processor improvements can be difficult for buyers to notice immediately. For gaming, an 8,100mAh cell can provide more practical value than a small increase in benchmark performance, especially for users who play over mobile networks.
The 4G designation will limit the phone’s appeal in markets where 5G has become a basic expectation, but it may also allow Vivo to reach lower price points in regions where LTE remains perfectly adequate for everyday use.
