Vivo appears to be preparing another addition to its T5 family after a new model surfaced through a Flipkart microsite in India. The teaser points toward a quad-curved display and promotes improved AI performance through a GenAI-ready neural processing unit. Vivo has already expanded the T5 name across multiple variants, so the new model appears designed to occupy another position within a deliberately broad range rather than replacing one existing phone. Quad-curved displays remain divisive.
They can make bezels appear exceptionally thin and give a phone a premium silhouette, but heavily curved edges sometimes introduce accidental touches and complicate screen protection. Recent designs reduce those problems by using gentler curvature across all four sides instead of dramatic waterfall edges. The explicit AI messaging is equally predictable. Smartphone manufacturers are increasingly treating neural processing capability as a standard marketing pillar alongside cameras and battery life.
Vivo has not yet confirmed complete specifications or an exact launch date. The Flipkart appearance does, however, strongly suggest that the Indian announcement is close.
