South Korean indie team LemonVelvet is preparing to launch the Kickstarter campaign for ZombiSeed on September 10, following a pre-launch campaign that is already attracting attention. The planned iOS and Android game combines visual-novel storytelling, relationship mechanics and turn-based card battles inside a post-apocalyptic setting. Its central infection, Blossom, transforms victims into beautiful but deadly Flower Zombies.

Players take the role of a teacher at an elite Hunter Academy and can customise the protagonist's name and gender before building relationships with five male students and another teacher. Combat uses cards rather than traditional menu commands, giving the project a tactical layer beneath its character-driven narrative. The combination is unusual enough to make ZombiSeed immediately memorable.

Mobile is overflowing with zombie games and relationship-driven RPGs, but very few attempt to combine the two with botanical horror and a card-battle system. The small development team makes crowdfunding particularly important because campaign performance can influence the final scope. Android and iOS remain the target platforms, with the project currently aimed at a 2027 release.
