Once Human has deployed Version 3.0.4 across its live ecosystem, including Android and iOS, with another broad package of balance changes, experience improvements and system adjustments. The update includes tweaks to items, combat equipment and quality-of-life systems while continuing the game's steady post-launch development cadence.
Once Human is an unusually complicated mobile proposition because it combines survival mechanics, large multiplayer worlds, base construction and extensive inventories inside a game originally comfortable with PC-scale interfaces. Every update therefore has to solve two problems simultaneously: maintain the depth expected by dedicated survival players and prevent the mobile version from becoming cumbersome.
The latest patch also arrives alongside the wider expansion of Once Human onto additional platforms, increasing pressure on NetEase to keep rules and progression understandable across different control schemes. Regular iteration is encouraging, although constant balance changes can make long-term builds difficult to follow. The upcoming September update will provide another indication of how aggressively the development team intends to continue reshaping the game.
