Honor expands connected-device lineup with MagicPad 4, Watch 6 and Earbuds 4

Honor has expanded its ecosystem with the MagicPad 4 tablet, Watch 6 smartwatch and Earbuds 4, positioning the trio as companions to its latest flagship smartphones. The MagicPad 4 is the most technically ambitious of the group, combining Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 with a 12.3-inch 165Hz OLED display and a 10,100mAh battery in a chassis measuring only around 4.8mm thick. The Watch 6 emphasizes extremely long claimed battery life, while the Earbuds 4 add high-level active noise cancellation.

Honor's broader strategy mirrors other major Chinese manufacturers: sell the phone as the entry point and then surround it with products that share accounts, connectivity and AI functions. Tablets are particularly important because they allow phone manufacturers to move into higher-value productivity use without entering the traditional laptop market directly.

The hardware specifications are competitive; software continuity between devices will determine whether Honor's ecosystem feels genuinely integrated or simply like several attractive products sold under one brand.
