ANANTA now has a global launch date of January 15, 2027, giving NetEase and developer Naked Rain a concrete target for one of the year's most watched cross-platform RPGs. The free-to-play game is planned for iOS and Android alongside PC and PlayStation 5, and its latest Gamescom presentation continues to emphasize dense urban exploration rather than a traditional fantasy wilderness.

Players can move through business districts, side streets and nightlife areas while controlling multiple characters and dealing with both everyday activities and larger threats. The city itself remains ANANTA's most important selling point. Many mobile open-world games provide enormous maps but relatively limited interaction; ANANTA is attempting to make traffic, traversal, shops and neighborhood activity central to the experience.

Mobile performance will be critical because that density is computationally expensive. With a date now fixed, the next several months will be about proving the game can preserve its visual ambition without limiting practical play to only the most powerful smartphones.
