Aniimo will launch on iOS and Android on September 23, one week after its September 16 arrival on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. The creature-collecting action RPG from Pawprint Studio and Kingsglory features more than 200 creatures and mixes exploration, combat and companion progression across a large fantasy world. The staggered release gives the mobile team additional time after the initial console and PC rollout, potentially reducing pressure on performance optimization and touch controls.
That matters because Aniimo's presentation is significantly more ambitious than a traditional mobile collection game. Players expect open environments and active combat to perform smoothly without turning phones into hand warmers after fifteen minutes. The broader competitive environment is also intense, with Roco Kingdom and several other creature-focused games targeting overlapping audiences. Aniimo's September timing means it will reach players before many of those projects.
Its success will depend on whether the creature systems feel deep enough to create attachment rather than functioning as another checklist of collectible units.
