Nexon Games has replaced the Project RX codename with Fareidolia and is preparing the character-focused RPG for its first public playable appearance at Tokyo Game Show. The title is being developed for mobile alongside PC and consoles, with players managing the Anima City Restoration Center and living at Tasogare Hall with characters known as Mates.

The concept mixes everyday interactions and relationship-building with more traditional RPG content, placing social connections at the center rather than treating them as optional menus. Nexon will release another trailer on September 17 before Tokyo Game Show attendees get hands-on access. Fareidolia is notable because it comes from a studio environment closely associated with Blue Archive but appears substantially more ambitious in presentation and world design.

Mobile controls and performance will therefore be important questions during upcoming demonstrations. The renamed project now has a clearer public identity, but Nexon has not yet disclosed its full monetization structure or global release date.
