Realme P4s 5G brings 8,000mAh battery and 144Hz OLED to the mid-range

Realme's P4s 5G has launched in India with a specification mix clearly aimed at mobile gamers and heavy users. The phone combines a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra-class platform with a 144Hz OLED display, an unusually large 8,000mAh battery and 80W charging. Realme is also emphasizing thermal management and high-frame-rate support in selected games. The P4s demonstrates how quickly features associated with dedicated gaming phones have migrated into conventional mid-range devices.

Buyers no longer need aggressive gamer styling to receive extremely high-refresh displays and oversized batteries. Battery capacity is becoming one of Android's most visible specification races in 2026 as newer cell chemistry lets manufacturers store far more energy without making phones proportionally thicker. The real test will be sustained performance. High refresh rates look impressive on a specification sheet, but games only benefit when the processor can maintain corresponding frame rates without throttling.

Pricing and software support will ultimately determine how strong the P4s becomes against similarly aggressive rivals.
