Crystal of Atlan brings Mai Shiranui into its King of Fighters '98 collaboration

Crystal of Atlan has launched its latest crossover content, bringing Mai Shiranui into the fantasy action RPG through a collaboration with The King of Fighters '98. The event went live on August 27 and gives mobile players another reason to return to a game that has increasingly relied on large crossover events to keep its global audience engaged.

Crystal of Atlan combines fast real-time combat with MMO-style progression, making fighting-game characters an unusually natural fit compared with collaborations that simply add cosmetic costumes. Mai's appearance is accompanied by additional event material and arrives while Gamescom is driving unusually heavy attention toward cross-platform and mobile RPGs.
