Monster Hunter Outlanders opens App Store and Google Play pre-registration

Monster Hunter Outlanders is now officially available for pre-registration through both the App Store and Google Play, marking another concrete step toward the launch of TiMi Studio Group's mobile hunting RPG. Pre-registration opened alongside the Gamescom reveal of Ruger Aidal, the first Elder Dragon created specifically for Outlanders. The creature is tied to the mysteries surrounding the game's island setting of Aesoland and demonstrates that TiMi is not simply recycling the existing Monster Hunter catalogue.

Outlanders is licensed and supervised by Capcom while being developed by TiMi, whose mobile portfolio includes some of the industry's largest competitive games. That pedigree creates high expectations for performance and controls. Monster Hunter combat depends on animation timing, positioning and reading monster behavior, making touchscreen adaptation significantly harder than translating a turn-based RPG.

Pre-registration milestone rewards provide the familiar live-service incentive to build an audience before launch. The game's ongoing closed beta and Gamescom demonstrations should give potential players considerably more useful information than registration numbers alone.
