TiMi Studio Group has used Gamescom 2026 to give Honor of Kings: ACE its first public playable demonstration, expanding the enormous Honor of Kings universe beyond traditional MOBA combat. ACE is described as a strategy-focused hero card battler and is playable on both PC and mobile at Tencent's Cologne booth. The roughly 25-minute demonstration gives visitors an early look at how recognizable Honor of Kings characters are being adapted into a more tactical format.

The move demonstrates how aggressively Tencent is extending its biggest franchises into multiple genres rather than relying on a single core product. Honor of Kings already commands a huge mobile audience, which gives ACE a powerful acquisition advantage if existing players are willing to experiment with a card-based experience. The harder task will be proving that it has enough mechanical identity to stand apart from the crowded collectible-card and hero-strategy markets.

Gamescom attendees can also play Honor of Kings: World, the original Honor of Kings and Arena of Valor, effectively turning Tencent's booth into a showcase for how one mobile franchise can support an entire ecosystem.
