Motorola teases Swarovski Razr for IFA 2026

Motorola has begun teasing another crystal-covered Razr collaboration ahead of IFA 2026, which runs in Berlin from September 5 to 9. A short promotional clip shows a Razr-style foldable decorated with sparkling crystal elements, strongly suggesting that Motorola and Swarovski are extending their recurring partnership to the current Razr 70 generation.

The companies previously collaborated on luxury editions that transformed the foldable from a conventional technology product into something closer to fashion jewellery. That positioning makes sense for clamshell foldables because design is one of their clearest advantages over ordinary smartphones. Performance differences between premium phones are becoming harder for mainstream buyers to notice, while materials, colour and finish remain immediately visible.

Motorola has not yet provided full pricing or availability information for the teased model. Swarovski editions have historically been produced in more limited volumes and sold at a premium, so this is unlikely to become the volume Razr. Instead, it helps Motorola reinforce a fashion-led identity in a foldable market where Samsung still possesses enormous brand recognition.
