Realme P4s 5G combines an 8,000mAh battery with a 144Hz OLED display

Realme's P4s 5G is another example of the battery arms race reshaping Android's midrange. The phone combines an 8,000mAh cell with 80W fast charging and a 6.78-inch 144Hz OLED display, specifications that would have been associated with specialist gaming hardware only a few years ago. Processing comes from MediaTek's Dimensity 7400 Ultra, while Realme has added a large cooling chamber and a dedicated visual-processing chip intended to help compatible games reach high frame rates.

The phone also carries extensive water and dust resistance ratings. Realme is clearly targeting buyers who want long gaming sessions without paying flagship prices. The challenge is sustained performance. A 144Hz panel only creates value when the processor and cooling system can feed it consistently, and forcing high refresh rates can itself increase power consumption. The 8,000mAh battery provides plenty of headroom, however.

Realme's launch reinforces a wider trend visible across Xiaomi and other Chinese brands: battery capacity has become one of 2026's most effective marketing weapons.
