Petit Planet confirms winter launch and September 20 final beta

HoYoverse is moving Petit Planet rapidly toward release, confirming a winter 2026 global launch on iOS, Android and PC and scheduling a final beta for September 20. The game represents a substantial departure from the action-heavy structure associated with Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail and Zenless Zone Zero. Players become Planet Tenders responsible for shaping their own small world, farming, gathering materials, building homes and developing relationships with fuzzy neighbors.

Exploration extends beyond the home planet through travel across the Starsea to smaller islets where additional resources and recipes can be found. A shared Galactic Bazaar provides the social component, offering trading, mini-games and interaction with other players. Mobile could become the game's natural platform because decorating, farming and relationship systems translate well to short recurring sessions. The most closely watched question will be monetization.

Cozy life simulations depend heavily on a sense of ownership and freedom, and HoYoverse will need to ensure that collection mechanics enhance personalization without making basic customization feel artificially restricted.
