Tecno Spark Go 3 Pro brings IP69 durability to the budget segment

Tecno has launched the Spark Go 3 Pro in India, placing rugged durability at the center of an otherwise affordable smartphone. The device carries an IP69 rating designed to protect against dust and high-pressure water exposure while also emphasizing resistance to the accidental drops and rough handling common in everyday work. Hardware includes a 6.78-inch 120Hz display and a 5,200mAh battery.

Tecno has also added AI Voiceprint Noise Cancellation to improve calls in loud environments, dual speakers with DTS support and an infrared remote. Indian pricing begins at ₹15,999 for 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, with a 128GB version priced at ₹16,999. Sales begin September 4 through Amazon, Flipkart and offline retailers. The launch illustrates an interesting shift in budget-phone competition.

Manufacturers historically concentrated almost entirely on processor speed and camera counts, but durability can create more tangible value for users who depend on one phone for work, payments, navigation and communication. IP69 protection at lower prices could force rivals to strengthen their own entry-level designs.
