Huawei is preparing a broad mobile-ecosystem launch in Munich on September 2 under its Chase the Wild campaign. The company says the event will span smartwatches, tablets, smartphones and audio hardware, with wearables taking a particularly prominent role. The Watch GT 7 series is positioned as Huawei's next flagship sports-watch family, emphasizing outdoor performance, health management and long battery life. Huawei is also bringing the Watch 6 series back to European markets after an absence.

The company's wearable business has become increasingly important because watches face fewer of the software-service limitations that complicate Huawei smartphones outside China. Health tracking, battery endurance and materials can compete directly against Apple, Samsung and Garmin without depending on Google Mobile Services. The September event also arrives just before IFA, ensuring Huawei's announcements feed into Europe's largest consumer-electronics news cycle.

Wearable competition is increasingly shifting away from simple step counting toward interpretation of sleep, cardiovascular metrics and training load. Huawei's challenge will be turning increasingly sophisticated sensor data into advice users actually understand and trust.
