Aniimo heads toward September with more than 28 million pre-registrations

Pawprint Studio's Aniimo is entering its final pre-launch stretch with more than 28 million registrations reported worldwide. The creature-collecting RPG launches on PC and consoles on September 16 before reaching iOS and Android on September 23. More than 200 creatures are planned at launch, and their role extends beyond battle. Different Aniimo can assist with traversal and exploration, while the Twining system allows players to experience parts of the environment from a creature's perspective.

That gives Pawprint a useful differentiator as the creature-collection category becomes suddenly crowded. Roco Kingdom, Azur Promilia and several other projects are targeting similar audiences. A staggered release also gives the studio a technical advantage: PC and console servers can reveal serious balance or backend issues one week before a potentially enormous mobile population arrives. The 28-million registration figure creates substantial expectations, however.

A successful launch now requires not only stable servers but enough world variety and progression depth to convince millions of curious downloaders that Aniimo deserves long-term attention.
