Huawei's Watch D3 has broken cover in detailed renders just days before its September 2 launch. The new wearable reportedly uses a 1.92-inch LTPO AMOLED display, larger than the 1.82-inch panel on its predecessor, while reducing overall thickness from roughly 13.3mm to 11.4mm. Huawei appears to be using an aluminium-and-polycarbonate construction to reduce bulk while preserving the hardware required for ambulatory blood-pressure monitoring.

That matters because previous Watch D models offered unusually advanced health capabilities but were physically thicker than mainstream smartwatches. Wearable medical features only provide value if people are willing to keep the device on their wrist for long periods. A thinner D3 could therefore be a more meaningful upgrade than another processor or additional watch face. Renders show Amber Brown, White and Black variants.

Full pricing and regional availability remain for Huawei's launch event, but the design leak suggests the company is trying to move blood-pressure monitoring closer to the comfort and appearance of an ordinary premium smartwatch.
