Phil Schiller steps back from App Store leadership during Apple's executive reshuffle

Longtime Apple executive Phil Schiller is stepping away from his principal responsibilities overseeing the App Store and Apple product-launch events, marking another significant change in the company's leadership structure. Schiller joined Apple in 1987 and played a central role in marketing generations of Macs, iPhones and iPads before becoming an Apple Fellow. Responsibility for the App Store is shifting toward services chief Eddy Cue, while operational leaders continue managing the marketplace day to day.
